Welcome to My Pain Pal!

We're here to help you manage your cancer pain.

We will work with you and your care team to help you best manage your pain using medications and other strategies. Cancer pain take a toll on how you're feeling emotionally too, so we'll ask you about how you're doing each day and help you learn tips to manage both your emotions and pain and how they relate to each other!

Managing pain takes time, but the more you use this app, the better you'll feel!

Figuring out how to use opioids can be especially tough. It takes time to find the right medication, the right dose, learn when to take them, and learn how to manage their side effects.

How does it work?

Each day, you’ll answer a short survey, which asks about your pain, medication use, mood, sleep, and other symptoms. It lets your care team know how you’re feeling, and gives you advice on how you're doing and things you can do to feel better!

Each day the app will send you education about coping with pain! Each one will take between 2-5 minutes to review. You can also browse through the resource library for more information on opioids, why pain and stress are connected, side-effects, relaxation recordings you can listen to help you sleep, and other helpful ways to manage your pain.

My Pain Pal and your care team work together to help you learn ways to manage your pain better, and live a fuller life.
